Renowned filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently underwent an angioplasty and is currently on the path to recovery.
In a conversation, Roshan reassured fans, stating, "There’s no need for concern; it was just a minor routine procedure. I’m doing well and have many more films to create."
Back in 2019, he bravely fought and triumphed over throat cancer.
In a harrowing incident in 2000, Roshan was shot by gangsters after refusing to pay extortion money, yet he managed to drive himself to the hospital with a bullet lodged in his abdomen.
Indeed, he exemplifies resilience.
The director of the 'Krissh' series shared, "The key is to not allow challenges to overwhelm you. The more you are tested, the stronger you become. I lost my dear friend Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) to cancer in 2020. We both faced cancer, albeit different types. Thankfully, I am completely cured. Health is paramount, and I conveyed this to Chintu as well. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend his last rites due to my own health issues."
